Teledyne Laars manufactured the first Mark IV and Mark V
pool heaters during the 1970's. Many of the Mark V's are still in full
operation today. The Teledyne Laars Series 1 and Series 2 were
manufactured later, in the 1990's, and are also still heating pools
today. For areas that cannot access natural gas, Teledyne Laars created
the only oil-fired pool heater in the 1970's. The oil burners for the Teledyne
Laars XL2, XL3, DP200 and DP3000 oil fired pool heaters are manufactured by
Beckett.
The Laars lite and the Laars Lite 2 are the most modern of the Teledyne
Laars brands. The Laars Heating Systems Company is the business that previously sold Teledyne Laars systems and parts. Laars no longer manufactures parts under the Teledyne Laars label. However, we still stock many original Teledyne Laars replacement parts for Teledyne Laars heaters still in use. We also stock Jandy, Laars and Zodiac Pool heater parts which are specifically manufactured for use in those Teledyne Laars pool heaters. Use of Teledyne Laars on our website is primarily aimed at identifying parts and heaters that we have replacements for and is not intended to represent that a part is a Teledyne Laars part unless noted as such on the website. Our expert support staff can identify any part for any
model of the Teledyne Laars pool heater family.
